Im almost done with my cycle and would it matter if i gota new bigger filter?

as long as you run both filters for a couple of weeks in the tank it should be ok...so you give time to the new one to get the bacteria established on it...

You will need to keep your old and new filters running together for at least a month. It will not make things go faster. If you replace filters change the old media from your existing filter into the new filter. If you just replace filters without moving the media you are pretty much back at zero again.
