So looking through saltwaterfish.com i found their guide to drip acclimate, granted there are some posted already but this one is a pictured slideshow that may be a bit more helpful for visual learners (like my self)

While I'm sure the folks selling fish have waaaaay more experience with this than I do, I kind of question the idea of using the styrofoam shipping container as a acclimation "tank". Granted... it's going to keep heat loss down, but I'd sure be worried about chemicals from the styrofoam forming process leeching/washing into the water. I'm pretty sure those containers aren't sterilized or anything. Then again, maybe I'm just too paranoid!

You could also use a plastic tote with a small heater in it as well. On a side note, I like to turn off as many lights as possible when I open the shipping container.
