It is a bumble bee goby. They are mostly found in freshwater but can also live in brackish. All mine live in freshwater and I have never had one die. Are you in Australia?

They switch to brackish around three years old when in nature they migrate to salty spawning grounds

Ah ok Cool that's the first I have heard of it. I was reading a book because I am trying to breed them and all it said was have a cave lol never said anything about water. I will have to look into that thanks for the info

The new red claw breeding tank is under way and also have more bristlenose eggs getting very exciting here and keeping me busy. Love my hobby. Going fishing this weekend lets hope I catch something big

So I changed things about today as last night got very cold ( first cold night of the year ) I have moved my tanks inside as well as getting some new fish.

I got breeding pair of red terrors and green terrors as well as a demosin for free.

Are you really only using 4 2x4s to hold that up? Dang I was going to use 8 to hold up my 20 gallon

Yeh that's all I used on my 5 footer as well. As long as its put together right and supported properly its fine. It's about 60 cms high my other stand was 90 cms high
