hermit crabs mating??/

hey everyone,
All of a sudden my common hermit crabs are all over eachother and was just wondering if they are fighting or if they are actuall mating... anyone have any info on this?

they might be fighting for each others shells, try throwing in some empty shells a nit bigger then the ones they have now and see what happens.

hmmmm i thought that too... but there are shells in there for them .... does anyone know the positions or what to look for if they do mate?

I think they prefer the missionary position. Just kidding...I have no idea, when that happens in my tank one usually ends up dead.
