hermit crabs

I got two teeny hermit crabs to help clean up my tank. When i got them home it occured to me... I have to provide them with new shells don't I? How do i know what size to buy? And where do you buy teeny shells? like these guys are about half an inch

they should have the shell in your LFS.
u will need to buy all kind of size, since they will like to switch house a lot LOL.
I have 7 hermits and I put like 14 shells inside.
I get the smaller one out and exchange some big one in time when they grow bigger.

yeah, just ask your LFS, they usually have tons. If I buy something they usually just give me a handful to take with me.

Pick shells based on the opening, not really the size of the shell. They have to be able to fit into the opening to want to move in....
