Hermit Crabs

I have never kept hermit crabs before and my children would love a couple. We recently upgrade our 40 gallon tank to a 90. I have the empty 40 and a 20 also. What are the basic supplies needed for keeping crabs happy. Which tank would be the best size for them? Any extra advice would be appreciated. I live in Texas also so I was wondering about humidity And temp inside tank.

Mulch would be a good substrate. The tank should be relitivly humid. Feed them fruits and meat.

I have 4 in a twenty gal, but if you have lots of places for them to climb you could put 8-12.
