hi everbody - Issue with Oscars

I have a question can anyone tell me why my oscars food and feces start growing white fuzz after a day?

Probably some type of algae? It would certainly be a nutrient rich place for algae to grow....

I thought algea was green though. It's wierd cuz it take not even a day and all the excess food and feces is covered in it. Here a pic

Looks like a fungus to me

That what I thought but if it was a fungus wouldn't it take more than a half day to get that way??

It looks like fungus to me as well. I have seen it cover a piece of veggie I forgot to remove in less than 24hrs. Just remove anything uneaten after feeding. Leftover food can contribute to ammonia levels as well.

Alright oscars are very messy fish I've noticed but sooo cute lol thanks for the advice everybody
