I just recently got a 4ft aquarium and have gone through the cycling stage and looking for stock ideas. I can't believe the variety of amazing fish available. I have never kept tropical fish before, just a little 40Litre goldfish bowl. So looking for advice and ideas

Welcome, I find that a huge shoal of tetras look spectacular in a 4ft

Rainbows, tetras, rasboras, peaceful cichlids, gouramis, danios, barbs, gouramis, cories, you've got lots of options! Just not all those fish though

Welcome! The fish above are great options. I think of school of Tetras and Cories would look nice!
