hi, im just wondering can i put shrimp in a 3 gallon tank with a betta? i started the hobby a few years ago and just discovered this website!

Welcome to AA. It depends on your betta, some leave them alone and some do not. If you try it make sure there are hiding places for the shrimp and have a back up plan if your betta decides to snack on one.

Welcome! And I couldn’t have said it better myself! My betta chomped off the head of my favorite shrimp so it’s good to have a backup plan.
