Hob filter question?

I recently added this giant tree decoration in my 5gallon dwarf puffer tank and was wondering if I should move my filter/tree as the tree kind of blocks the filter. The filter runs fine just as it used to, but was wondering if it would get less particles because the tree is in the way? I attached pics.

Some particles will get trapped on the tree. You will have to manually remove the particles when you see them. Get a turkey baster to make it easy for yourself.

Good job decorating your tank. Its very pleasing to my eyes.

Updated my tank with this plant. Don't know why but I like that paper about that plant in my tank haha.

I'm trying to downgrade my DP's tank from a 20 gallon to a 5-6 gallon tank. I hope I can make my tank half as good as your tank!

Thanks! How many dps you got, just one? I heard its one to a 5 gallon. Al though I have tried two to a 5 gallon twice, but one died via disease, and the other died maybe due to not wanting to eat.

Just one DP with 2 guppies. I have a hard time finding it in my 20 gallon, and also need the tank for a bigger puffer.

ahh cool! Yea, I have a hard time finding my puffer in my 5 gallon every so often.
