I just recently paired up my male gourami with a female a few days ago with high hopes to breed them. I am looking for some advice on how to go about it.

Will definetly keep you posted, so far my female isnt trying to avoid the male as much and is actually swimming with him from time to time. It's been about 8 days since I added her she might just need a little bit to mature.

Are those a form of honey gourami? I don't seem them in the picture, but some floating plants would be good.

Yes they are a sunset honey gourami, I have some dwarf water lettuce on the other side of the tank.

Ah, that's good. I think they like to use the roots of floating plants when they build their bubble nests. Let us know what happens.

I will so far she is getting more comfortable, and today after I was maintaining a few of my plants, both of them swam up, so I decided to feed them a few flakes and some freeze dried shrimp, and they looked like they were getting along well enough to come up and feed at the same time.
