shipment came in today including a horned nerite snail. this has the same spiral yellow and black pattern on the shell but no horns when i took it out of the plastic bag. upon inspecting the shell further, there are no places that i can tell if the horns were broken off or not. i contacted the seller on the website earlier and am currently waiting for a response.
is mine just young and will grow horns in time? or is this a different species snail? seller described them a clithion corona/diadema.
