My mom has an anubias plant and I've taken clippings of it and grow it in glasses of water, could i use this plant in one of my aquariums?

That doesn't look like the anubias for aquariums. Is it pothos maybe? You could put the roots in the tank and leave the plant growing outside the tank. Some people do that. Try asking Rivercats. SHe knows everything about plants!

It's pothos and I have a large plant growing off the side and front of my 220g. I originally took a few clippings, loosely tied them together, stripped the leaves off the bottom of the stems that would hang in the water, and draped it over the tank rim with the bottoms in the tank water. I just clip stems when they get too long and add them to the bundle. I now have a very large plant growing quite happily off the tank.
