I'm sure that sounds backward, but here's my question:

If I have my 2 African Leaf fish, and they're probably every bit of 3-4" in length, will I be able to put GBR or skirt tetras in the tank with them, or will they get eaten?? There are two clown loaches in there, about 2" and they're just fine, but I'm not sure where the line is.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Probably not the greatest advice, but I just do it and see what happens. Lost alot of fish that way, but get lucky every so often.

I was debating on winging it. Lol

Sent from a place where the water is fresh and clean and we all swim free.

Wing it!!! But don't spend too much in case they become snacks.

Desacrator, it's a planted 55g.

Tmaier, I decided to spend 10 on bala sharks (5 a piece on sale for medium sized ones) to see if they would make it. Considering they get to be about 14" a piece, I figured they'd be good long-term fish that will eventually be showpieces in my tank in addition to the leaf fish. :)

Be careful with Balas as they are very skittish. I tried netting one and it tried to get away so fast it slammed into the glass and died from the trauma.
