How did the snails get in my tank?

2 of them will do fine in a 24gal they dont get bigger then about 5" in aquariums and stunting doesnt affect the health of them at all so they will live there whole lives happily in a 24gal the foot long ones are usualy the max size in the wild even the 5"+ ones you buy at the store are ususaly wild caught but if you want to transfer them to the bigger tank it will take at least 5 years to get 5-6" they can live up to 30 years in proper conditions so they are a good harty fish to keep every one thinks fish are soo senstive but they are alot stronger then every one leads on

Cool, didn't know that thanks. I may leave them in there for good. The Gouramis don't seem to care that they are in there.
