Test a fresh batch of saltwater that you make. SeaChem Reef salt typically has a calcium level of around 540 ppm ca, so your right where the salt you use should be.seachem-reef salt
Did you ever test for phosphate? What are your alk and magnesium levels?im not getting an purple on my LR
Change to a salt that is lower in calcium.how do you go about lowering calcium?
does it matter if i using tap water?
...but my LFS said that my water softner can be the reason for my fishes death and calcium level not being in the right reading.
he claimed that water softner might have extra sodium additives. please advise. thanks
