was just checking my water parameters , when I happen to glance at my war coral it has about 10 or so of those bubble algae thingies on it, how do I kill those buggers before they over take my coral?

I wanted to just pop them but then I remember reading somewhere that they can put out a poison toxin in water

I need to catch this before it spreads in my tank

my parameters are perfect
very anal about that
think they must have hitchhiked in with coral got the coral about a month ago

Could be because they're consuming the nitrates and phosphates that's why your not reading any.

Syphon it out during water changes. Change water more often. Make sure not to pop them, they will release spores that spread the algae. You have to find the source that's keeping them fed. More frequent water changes. All the regular stuff for battling algae. Not certain about limiting lighting though. Anyone else?

going to QT coral than attempt a gentile surgery in am to remove those bubbles
wish me luck
