Hello everyone. It's been a while since I've posted. Been really busy.
My 45 gallon tank is doing great. :D
So now I face a new dilema...there is a chance I'll be moving within the next few months. I'm in the process of house hunting. So naturally my aquarium is a concern.....I've worked so hard this year getting it set up and running....how does one move an aquarium to a new location without losing the fish? I have moved this aquarium before when I used to have goldfish. They are much more tolerant of water conditions. I don't want to have to put my fish through a whole new "cycle". I was thinking I could put the filter media in the tank water in some sort of container to keep the bacteria alive, etc. It will be virtually impossible to keep the water since the move will be about 30 min from here. It will nt be possible to start a cycle at the new house beforehand.
I did a search on this site to see if someone else had this issue. Most people were just moving their tanks to another room.
Any advice you can give, would be appreciated! Thanks!! :)
