How do you tell if a ram is a male or female?

Hi. I went to my LFS today and got a pair of Bolivian Rams. I don't know if there male or female and I would like to know. So how do you tell the difference between the genders?

I have had one of my rams almost a year and it's for sure a male. The tail trailers are very long. My other ram has been with me about a month. This one has trailers on the tail, but they aren't nearly as long.
