How do you treat ich?

None of my fish have it, I just want to know what you guys to in an ich outbreak. How long does it take to go away?

Some people swear by upping the temp and adding salt others use the meds they sell at the store. I have been lucky enough to not have to deal with this yet also but I have some aquarium salt on hand just in case.

Tried meds but the meds killed fish. I use salt/heat now.

Quick Cure works great. Just run charcoal afterwards.
