how many guppys can fit in 20 gallon?

Depends on your filtration. Guppies are MESSY....lol. I'd say for me, I would do 10-15.

i have a aquafilter that is for 30 gallon

and acouple snails

Sounds like too many fish to me. Corys need to be with more friends, also. I've heard 3 at a min. and 5/6 even better.

Are you going to have a mix of male and female guppies? If so, just start with three! Two females and a male. You'll have a stocked tank in a few months.
