How many Ottos for 5G?

Well I thought I would give my betta a little company and get a small school of ottos for my 5G heavily planted tank.

I'm thinking a school of 4 would be good for my tank.

Just wanted some seconds thoughts if anyone had some suggestions on how many I can get, what I could number would be.

They add very little bioload to the tank, but keeping them fed properly would be the problem. Under perfect circumstances with enough food and clean water conditions, 3-5 would do fine I think.

Alright, cool. Thanks. I'll make sure they get feed. I know that's a pretty common problem why they die for people. I have plenty of varity for them.

Finding reasonably healthy stock is difficult when it comes to ottos, don't be surprised if you have to restock them.

Yeah I remember somone posting a link about ottos. How they catch them in the wild and such, and how the petstore stores the fish and such. It is very difficult to find good quality stock of ottos. I have 1 good otto in my 20G that's been in there forever. Hopefully the next school I buy will do good aswell.

I'll be feeding them fresh veggies, algae waffers, and bottom feeder shrimp pellets. Along with flake foods and the algae already in the tank.
