why wont the nitrites ever hit 0? ive done pwc already but after dosing the tank with ammonia again the nitrites go back up.

I'd suggest doing a big PWC to get the no2/no3 to readable levels and dose ammo to 2ppm rather than 4. Too high a readings can cause a stall IMO/E.

I agree it has gotten to the point where you need to reset levels and hopefully it will finish quickly from there.

the water has been changed the nitrites are barely showing up now. did about 75% change and ammonia is going down rapidly. Thanks guys
