How much moss

So I have another thread talking about doing a moss background how much do I need for a 55g tank and does any one have more than they can handle of is selling let me know

If your conditions are right to grow it, you can just get a regular sample and grow it out. You'll trim the moss wall every couple weeks and stick the trimmings back in the wall. To do this, you'll need some sort of temporary way to close up the wall instead of the zip tie method, or close only three sides with zip ties.

I actually use thread to sew my pieces of mesh together.

you'd need a lot of moss to do a background that long. It'd take a while to fill in of course, but I've used approx one baseball to cover an 6x6 area. It'd take significantly less if you had plenty of time since it fills in on its own, but yeah.
