How much to feed my Kuhli Loach? Size Comparisons included

My Kuhli's are all about the size of the popsickle stick. 2" long and not fat. Some of them are thicker than others and some are very thin. They have been in their tank less than a week and are finally starting to eat.

Best size comparison ever right?

So if I have twelve Kuhli's, all about 2" long and not fat, how many of those pellets should I feed them? They are these pellets: Carnivore Pellets

Right now the current procedure is to drop 7 pellets near their den. I give them an extra one because I have five amano shrimp who love to steal their pellets... little bastards. In the morning almost all of them are gone so I am taking that as a good sign. They almost never eat while I watch.

I find it fairly hard to know here. I guess do they look in good condition is mainly what I go by.
