To me it looks like a female veil tail. And the horizontal stripes on a female usually point to the fish being scared or stressed out. But it could also be just a plakat male like one of mine. Check for the egg spot to tell male or female, you can't always trust the labels they come with. I thought I was bringing home a gorgeous female half moon which turned out to be my male plakat.

Sorry I mixed up the stripes, horizontal means they're happy and ready to breed. Vertical is the stresses out. At least from my research and experience

I know he was stress you would be to if you went from a little cup to a 5 gallon tank. I know it is male cause no egg spot and I am thinking he is a round tail and about 7 weeks old now that I googled it lol.
