How to add water to tank

Is it safe to just add tap water to a tank or do I need to add the quick start and stress coat again

Anytime you add tapwater to your tank you need to add dechlorinator. Stresscoat is a dechlorinator.

If you are cycled, bottled bacteria like quickstart wont do anything useful. But if you have some left over you may as well use it up because it wont keep.

I might add, depends on where your tap water comes from. If you are on a private well, you probably won't have chlorine
