Hello,
I have a 20 gallon tank that is completely cycled (fishless). The problem I have is that I can’t put fish in for a couple days. I don’t want to lose the cycle because the beneficial bacteria isn’t being fed.
What is the best way to feed the bacteria until I get fish in the tank? I know that I can use ammonia, but I don’t know how much for my 20 gallon per day to maintain the cycle. What about bottled bacteria?
Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would use ammonia. You can add just a little bit (about 1ML) and test. Then add more based on the test (or possibly do a water change if it was too much)

Try to get close to 2 PPM.
