How to trim wisteria

Well, title says it all. Haha its time to trim it up but not really sure how, and in assuming when you trim out you can plant the trimmings, right?

Wisteria can get a gnarly look if it's allowed to bush and branch. The roots and sideshoots can quickly detract from the overall look of the plant, imo. When my wisteria is too long, I'll generally replant any heads a few inches above the substrate and let it start to grow again. It's a prolific plant and will quickly root itself again and resestablish.

Interesting. I didnt know that. Never grown it myself.
