My ever used hqi lights? I have a good that has 2 96 watt and 2 150 watt hqi lights that I'm. Not using. I know they get hot but it's becoming winter in Kansas already lol

I found a place that says the bulbs are for fw and sw, or are there different bulbs? I planed on 2 10k 96w bulbs and the 2 hqi which should allow me to grow any plant alive lol I only ask about the hqi cause the tank is really deep

Thanks

Are you talking about HID metal halide bulbs? I have a Coralife 3x150w HID metal halide with 4x39w T5HO's. Tank is a 220g which is 30" deep. I can grow just about anything but I have to limit my metal halide lights to 6 hours a day and I use liquid carbon daily.

Just dawned on me your talking about double ended metal halide bulbs... duh. What size tank are you wanting it for. Another thing to consider is not only will they produce heat but you will notice your electric bill increasing!
