I have 39g Cadlightd saltwater tank and I need a power head I want the Hydro Koralia Evolution but how powerfully should it be I want the nano 425gph or should I go with the 750gph or even the 1050, I do plan on adding some corals in the future, please help thanks

Hi! You want 20-40 times GPH running through your tank. I have a 30g and I have a 200gph return pump, a Hydor Koralia 525, and a zoo med 214 160 gph. Lots of small pumps is better than just a big one.

Hope it helps!

I would add two 550's or two 750's to a 39g tank. If aimed correctly there shouldnt be any sand storms. :)

If you feel more comfortable with those then you should be good. The 750's really arent that big and the 425's are a bit weak, I have them in my 20g tank.

But if youre dead set against the size then go for it! :) Some flow is better than no flow.
