Ya, I have one in just about all my tanks now. The regular sponges are great for breeding/growout tanks, the Pro sponges are better for larger fish.

Alright cool thanks y'all I just got a regular hang out back for now, I may invest in one of those for my eels, would it work for my eels?

Most folks with large numbers of tanks/fishrooms only use sponge filters. Much more economical and practical to run one heavy-duty air supply than dozens of hob filters. They're as good as anything else for biological filtration, only drawback is they don't move water (and debris) around the tank to get picked up like hob's or powerheads.
