Mine didn't take the baby food either or the grounded up NLS food so I tried some Betta flakes that I had and they love it.

@fishguy they are african hybrids (didn't know they would crops breed) but kenyi mother and eletric blue Johanni. And beta flakes well I have pellets how would that fair?

If they aren't eating they probably are looking for air, toss an air stone in. I feed my newborns Omega 1 Cichlid flakes ground up & baby brine alternating until they are big enough to eat spirulina brine.

Some more info is needed. How old are they? What have you got them in? Do they have heating and filtration? What's the water parameters?

Ok so they are 1 day and 3 hr old and in a ten gal planted with temp at 78 water perimeters are good and 5-15 gal HOB filter with an air stone
