I need help on cichlid tank with coral sand.

I need to know if I can have snail in my cichlid tank to keep my coral sand bed clean from wasted food? Or even loaches?

Yeah but it will eat plants as my apple snail did but I have bristlenose loaches which keep my ocean rock clean and cichlids tend to clean coral sand by spitting it out and sucking it up but all won't completely go

Thanx man. I've noticed my cichlids going through my sand. I've got a pleco in the tank and that's about it. Finding to hard to find a loach anywhere! All my LPS don't have it.

I've got 3 clown loaches and a yo-yo loach with my african cichlids.. they do a pretty good job of vacuuming.
