Looks like a bubble tip nem, you can put it where you want but it will move until its happy. What type of lighting do you have?

I have an 8 bulb t5ho but I only run 4 right now trying to control a little algae.

You have good lights for a nem but I would change it to a 7 hour cycle. It will still help with algae and be better for the nem. Be careful with him. They are fairly difficult to keep and will kill your corals if they are in a spot that he wants.

I would would it where you want it and watch it move to the spot that it likes. Little tip.. if you want it to stay in a general area... feed it for the first few days there. That is how I got mine to sit and stay. I call him fido.
