ID plant hitch hiker pls

Ok, so put some new plants in one of the tanks. Was moving things around and noticed a folded leaf on a banana plant. Went to remove it and found this.

I have removed it from the plant and tank. I'm assuming its not good. Just wanted to know what you guys thought.
 
It's a larval stage of some type of insect I'm pretty sure. Which one I don't know, it's not a dragonfly nymph or any I'm familar with.
 
Yeah, I hope I didn't just flush one of the worlds most beautiful butterfly........

Your safe as are the butterflies since they don't lay in water. But tons of different dragonflies, mayflies, craneflies, some beetles, and alot of others lay in the water, have larval or nymph stages, then morph into their adult form.
