Id this mbuna please

Could anyone tell me what kind of mbuna this is?

Psuedotropheus cyaneus is my guess.

Psuedotropheus cyaneus is my guess.

Cyaneus has a more elongated body and doesn't have the solid black on the dorsal. I agree with a lab hybrid.

It does have the right stripes like a Kenyi. Do Psuedo's and Labido's breed though? I thought cross breeding typically happens in the same genus? I don't know, just a thought.

Thanks for everyone's input. I'll have to ask my LFS that sold him to me. They had a scientific name for him but doesn't mean he isn't a hybrid that snuck in

He's also growing extremely fast. Doubled in size in maybe 6 weeks

How big is it? It could be a Kenyi transitioning into a male.
All Kenyi's start off blue, and then males turn yellow.

FOUND IT! It's a Labidochromis sp. mbamba, Labidochromis pearl mix.

It's almost 4 inches, but I vented it and It appeared to be female because I thought that too
