Picked up a new rock today with some shrooms on it and have no ideal what the purple one is on top, sponge ?

Almost looks like a montipora cap

If it's hard it could be a monti cap, could be a leather if it's soft.

It is soft.

I would say either a leather or a sponge then. Given the shape I'm more inclined to say leather, finger leather specifically.
