My bgk is in a 6ft 150 gal
He's thriving.... He's 9" after only 6 months. He's a beast
The older he seems to get, the more afraid of the light he is though. He's still one of my favs though.
They don't usually get much bigger than 15" in captivity... 6ft 125gal is prob enough. They don't need to turn around the same way other fish do...so I would think they don't need as much room
