Ideas for a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium?

I'm going to set up another 55 gallon aquarium. What do you all think is the most fun setup?
I was thinking about silver dollars but I'm open to suggestions.

If you did silver dollars it would have to be the spotted species, they stay the smallest. A school of six would fill the tank up pretty well and still leave room for some maintenance fish (bristlenose pleco, loaches, cories. etc).

How big do the "spotted species" get?

I googled "spotted silver dollar fish" for some pics and they're beautiful!

The largest I have seen are 4-5", so they will be okay in a 55.
