Hi,

When I was purchasing some amano shrimp a different type got in. He is has a totally different pattern and is bigger. Also he only stays in one area of the tank almost territorial. He has a higher body and is really see through. I will try and get some better photos as well

Can some one please help me identify what type of shrimp this is.

i would say ghost shrimp or Japanese algea eater shrimp... if you remember the cost .. ghost shrimp would be around $0.30 and the Japanese are around $2.50

looks like a cool spotted version of the same ghost shrimp I have in my tank! Those are pretty awesome.. I like it!

All of the ghost shrimp I've ever seen have a whiter carapace than this though...it seems like it isn't one. They usually don't look as see-through.
