It's not a hybrid but I'm not sure what it is.

I'm curious, how do you guys know it's not a hybrid? Cichlids cross breed constantly.

It looks familiar. Looking at the second picture you could be right

it almost looks like a kenyi yellow lab hybrid

it looks like a male kenyi but too many stripes

It's a Juvenal. Females stay a yellowish color and males are blue.
