Last night I was looking at my cichlid tank (which I just cleaned did a pwc Monday) and my black convict pair had babies! About 30. Little fry.
What should I feed them? I feed my cichlids flakes at 11am, frozen brine at 5pm and bloodworms at 11pm.
I have to leave them in the big tank, as I have no other place to put them. Thanks.

To feed the fry you can feed them a lot of thing like crushed up to a powder flakes for a substitute powder egg yolk for boiled egg. Brine shrimp .eggs. Some bacteria some I One is called insoria or something.

How long does dad convict take care of the babies? He already killed my Tiger Oscar, and all the other fish are hiding in the upper left side of the tank.
How long does it take for the fry to reach 1" long? I'm feeding them brine eggs and finely crushed flakes.
