I'm new to this forum but I'm not new to fishkeeping. I've been keeping fish for almost 3 years now.
So I have a 29 gallon planted tank and a 10 gallon planted

That's the 29 gallon
It's kind of a betta sorority with other fish mixed in.
And I have a ten gallon with a betta with platies

Halsey. She's usually a royal blue, but she's stressed out by the camera, so she's grey lol
She's a VT

Julie, Red Cambodian HM? She's very young. She also has a blue speck under her eye, which looks like a piece of diamond

I used to have 3 other females (1 VT, 1 PK, and 1 CT) but 2 died from dropsy and the other from stress

Any ideas on making my 10 gallon look better?

Taller plants, a piece of driftwood that is maybe a little taller to break up the space. I use sideways flower pots. The fish especially my bettas like to have caves. I'm attaching an example. My plants aren't planted yet but it's also a 10g and the fish have little areas.
