G'day from 'the land down-under'
I'm new to African Cichlids,.....and I'm in love, with my Cynotilapia afra 'Cobue', I've included some photos of my 22Gal tank with six juvies (1 male & 5 females.) I will be transferring them in 4-5 months time to a 48Gal tank. I look forwards to any comments (good or bad) and hope to learn from your experiences.

since this is a dwarf cichlid a 48 gallon with plenty of hiding spaces, caves, etc .. should be just fine. as they grow older they'll become more aggressive towards eachother, but thats just the nature of the fish. keep your ph at around 7.8 to 8.5 for these with a sandy bottom, my cichlids LOVE my sand. another plus to these fish is that they will eat almost anything, from flakes to pellets and frozen to live foods. these fish will be pretty, good luck with them.
