I've had my 70g community tank for 9-10 months. I've changed it countless times and I still get over it and change it again and again. I've decided it's about time to do something different. I have 8 planted tanks 4 of which are communities so I'm not looking for anything like that. I'm seriously considering a Malawi cichlid setup but am still exploring options. Saltwaters a bit out of reach (definitely in the future). A single or a breeding pair of fish maybe. I would really like to get an Oscar but IMO the tanks just too small and the footprints wrong. The tank is 100cm long, 45 wide and 60 high.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.

No you're right
The tank is way too small even a 125 might be too small as well :/

Maybe one day ;)

I'd go malawi. It gives you alot more inside options as far as species mixing.

So far I'm thinking peacocks and haps. That way I can keep my bnp and rts. I've got a thread in the cichlid section for that :)

+1 for Malawi. I just saw some earlier this week, he said they were hybrids but they had nice vibrant colors.
