Greetings,
What is the importance of potassium levels in the reef aquarium? I recently had my water professionally tested & found everything to be within the desired range except for my potassium level, which read 98 mg/L. I was told that I should look for something closer to 400 mg/L.
I have had some problems with polyps of various types & wonder if this is a potential cause.
Also - I cannot identify a potassium suppliment that does not also contain other elements (such as iodine) that I don't want to dose at this time. The only suppliments I can locate are for freshwater planted aquariums. Any recommendations here also appreciated.
