Thinking of getting a hammer blue cobalt lobster (aka crayfish or crawdad) for a tank. Question is will he be ok with the bottom feeders in the tank such as cory cats or is it a strictly with larger fish only kinda deal. And is it ok with snails?

All crayfish are opportunistic feeders, meaning that they will eat whatever they can get their claws on that they think they can tear appart. Experiences will very and some will tell you they have kept these with various fish without issue, however if they were not kept full with feedings, that situation would most likely change.

Ok so essentially feed it well and hope for the best and find one with small claws lol. Thanks much appreciated!
