Is 716 watts too much?

Hi , I'm gunna be starting a 72 bowfront reef soon and was wondering if a 716 watt light is over just overkill. The light has 2x250 watt metal halides 4x54 t5s

No that would be perfect for keeping corals, especially Lps and light demanding sps.
