my tank has been cycling for a few weeks now, and today my ammonia levels and nitrite levels have finally dropped to nothing. i really want to add a clownfish and a chocolate chip star as my first 2 critters. is it time for me to add some wildlife or should i wait?

It's time, just don't add too much at once. One or two fish a week to give the bio-filter time to adjust to the new load. A clownfish and a starfish will be fine....now comes the fun part of aquarium keeping. Enjoy.

Test your NitrAtes and see what you get. You are going to need to do large PWC, as your nitrates should be pretty high. It's the final step in the cycling process.

After you large PWC test your water again and see what your readings are.

yup i third what everone has said lol. I just got 2 false percs a few days ago, theyre great in the tank. Are you planning on going reef? if so i wouldnt add the cc star they eat corals; if you're just going with fish only then your fine
